The Moth, a not-for-profit organization devoted to storytelling, breathes modern life into the world’s most ancient art form. Called “New York’s hottest and hippest literary ticket” by The Wall Street Journal, Moth evenings feature true stories told by people from all walks of life — legendary artists, retired pick-pockets, scientists, and everyone in between. Tonight’s show features graduates of The MothSHOP, the Moth’s Community Outreach series, which brings storytelling workshops, free of charge, to students and diverse populations in neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs of New York City. For more information and to nominate a community group, visit themoth.org/outreach.
